第３回修士論文打ち合わせ

  • 以下はOvert Instructionに関するもの。それぞれについて、具体的にどういう指導をするのか、１つずつ考えることが必要。一部はすでに実施中。

  • 以下はMonitoringに関するもの。なぜ、できないのか、Journalを通してMonitorした上で、方法論を考える。Students' checklist about what they did at homeなどが可能。

11) I do not prepare for quizzes in daily lesson.
12) I do not prepare for the lesson.
13) I do not review the lesson by myself.
14) I do not practice reading the passage orally.
20) I do not review term exams.

  • 以下は、motivation / curiosity / mental attitudeに関するもの。operationが難しい。proofが難しい。どうしてもやりたければ、Low Scoreの子とDirect interactionを取った結果を比較するなど、sourceが必要。そのための手順が困難になる。根底にPsychological dependencyやpersonal rapportが関わってくるので困難。

  • ４月２９日までに、以上について進める。
  • Teaching Journalは９０分授業のみ対象とする。
  • Video-takingについては、論文資料として直接は用いない。

    • Quality control of overt instruction
    • Realistic Viewpoint : 授業をよくすることが、生徒をよくすることになるかは証明が必要。
    • 世界で最も楽観的であるべき職業はセールスマン：訪問販売の成功率は５％以下。切り替えが大切な仕事。
    • 世界で最も悲観的であるべき職業はパイロット：１つのミスが命取りになる。
  • 第４回打ち合わせに向けて
    • 以上を参考に、１〜２０のリストを、Overt Instruction、Monitoring、Attitudeの３つの観点にわける。
    • Attitudeについては、研究対象から除外。
    • Overt Instructionについて何ができるかを考えてくる。【例】家庭学習用To doリストを作る。
    • Monitoringについて何ができるかを考えてくる。【例】Teaching logを活用する。
